Privacy Policy
SHION INDUSTRIES (the "Developer") sets forth this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") regarding the handling of users' information in the smartphone (iPhone, Android) and Apple Watch app "oTuner" (the "App").
Article 1 (Use of the Microphone)
1. The App uses the microphone to detect the pitch of instruments. Sound from the microphone is only analyzed in real time on the device; it is never recorded or saved, and never sent to external servers.
2. Microphone access can be allowed or revoked at any time in the device's Settings app.
Article 2 (Apple Watch Connection)
The App (iPhone version) syncs the selected instrument and tuning, and the status of the Paid Services, between the user's own iPhone and Apple Watch through Apple's WatchConnectivity. This information is never sent to the Developer's servers.
Article 3 (Purchase Information)
1. Credit card and payment information used to purchase paid services is collected and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The Developer does not obtain or hold this information.
2. To check purchase status, the App uses RevenueCat, a purchase management service. An anonymous identifier and purchase history (the items purchased, their periods, etc.) are sent to RevenueCat.
Article 4 (Usage Analytics)
To improve quality, the App uses Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) and may anonymously collect information such as screen usage and crash reports. This information does not include personal information that can identify the user.
Article 5 (Advertising)
The App (free plan) displays ads provided by a third-party ad network (Google AdMob). This third party may collect user information (cookies, device identifiers, etc.). Tracking for personalized ads takes place on iPhone only if the user allows it through App Tracking Transparency. On Android, the device's advertising ID settings (deleting the advertising ID or opting out of personalized ads) are followed. Such information is handled in accordance with each provider's privacy policy.
Article 6 (Compliance with Laws and Review)
The Developer complies with the laws of Japan and other norms applicable to the information it holds, and reviews and improves this Policy as appropriate.
