Privacy Policy
SHION INDUSTRIES (the "Developer") sets forth this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") regarding the handling of users' information in the smartphone and tablet (iPhone, iPad, Android) app "oXBrowser" (the "App").
Article 1 (Browsing Data)
1. Pages viewed in the App, URLs and search terms entered, open tabs, cookies, and site data are stored only on the user's device and are never sent to the Developer's servers.
2. Communication for displaying pages takes place directly between the user and the websites and search engines the user opens. The handling of information on those sites follows each site's privacy policy.
Article 2 (Extensions)
1. The App lets the user add extensions chosen from the Chrome Web Store and elsewhere. Within the scope the user allowed when adding them, extensions may read or change page content and communicate on their own.
2. The handling of information by extensions follows the privacy policy of each extension's provider. The Developer does not receive the information obtained by extensions the user has added.
3. Added extensions can be removed at any time from the extension management screen.
Article 3 (Purchase Information)
1. Credit card and payment information used to purchase paid services is collected and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The Developer does not obtain or hold this information.
2. To check purchase status, the App uses RevenueCat, a purchase management service. An anonymous identifier and purchase history (the items purchased, their periods, etc.) are sent to RevenueCat.
Article 4 (Usage Analytics)
To improve quality, the App uses Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) and may anonymously collect information such as screen usage and crash reports. This information does not include personal information that can identify the user or the content of pages viewed.
Article 5 (Advertising)
The App (free plan) displays ads provided by a third-party ad network (Google AdMob). This third party may collect user information (cookies, device identifiers, etc.). Tracking for personalized ads takes place on iPhone and iPad only if the user allows it through App Tracking Transparency. On Android, the device's advertising ID settings (deleting the advertising ID or opting out of personalized ads) are followed. Such information is handled in accordance with each provider's privacy policy.
Article 6 (Compliance with Laws and Review)
The Developer complies with the laws of Japan and other norms applicable to the information it holds, and reviews and improves this Policy as appropriate.
